Who benefits?
Patients who have severe persistent symptoms that have failed non operative treatment may be eligible for surgery if a lumbar or cervical spine MRI confirms a clear cause that can be addressed with an outpatient surgery. Patients must be medically eligible to have surgery in an outpatient surgical centre.
